The Cossoggja summer
An exclusive residence in Costa Smeralda
In the Sardinian language, "Cussogghja" means a land that contains multiple buildings. This is why the term was chosen as the name of this unique property. Two residential units connected by a park with many comforts and services, located within a mediterranean vegetation.
The architecture is perfectly inserted within the landscape; it includes water features, a natural spring, pools, hydromassage and sports facilities.
Paths full of cork oaks and arbutus trees lead to vegetable gardens and aromatic rooms. Citrus groves and olive trees give way to a breathtaking view of the sea.
The area includes a number of private paths for walks; they allow to reach each corner by using golf cars.

The study of exteriors is based on the respect for plants within the area; wild olives, junipers, strawberry trees, cork oaks, holm oaks. Lounge areas have been set up near these plants, connected throughout functional and scenographic passages immersed in the scent of the Mediterranean scrub. The property also boasts a grove with citrus fruits, a vegetable garden and aromatic plans which are tended in a completely bio-friendly way. The sports area, which contains a tennis court, can easily be turned into an events venue..
pool project
Pools are carved out of natural granite rocks and equipped with a salt-based filter system that allows to reduce the use of chemicals in a bid to respect the natural state of the location.
art direction
The development of this project was enabled by Rocco LLC’s involvement of best-in-class local companies, including experts from plant nurseries, technicians and specialists who collaborated on various implementation phases.
